I have seen a variety of definitions and interpretations of organizational effectiveness. My understanding is that these definitions of effectiveness depend on the eye of the beholder or at least on the perspective or frame of reference of the person providing the definition-- their current situation, organizational strategy or individual background, for example, may lead them to see effectiveness in various ways.
